FREE FLIGHT ACADEMY
After a year away from Colombia we decided in 2027 we wanted to rekindle our love affair with one of our favourite locations....and then the earthquakes struck!
Our tour has always been held in the classic sites of Piedechinche and Roldanillo. Roldanillo has been particularly affected but after long conversations with our local friends, we have decided now more than ever we need to support the local people and flying community.
So please join us in trading in the cold European winter for perfect XC conditions and endless sunshine. We guarantee you will have a trip to remember whilst simultaneously you will be helping the locals back on their feet.
Skill requirements
The large group trip is for pilots with a minimum of 20+ hours that are confident with unassisted launching and landing.
This is definitely an XC-focused trip, so to get the best out of the conditions we'd recommend being comfortable with thermalling.
We also have a small group trip for pilots with over 100+ hours.

Where are we going?
The adventure starts with a warm up in the ultra classic Piedechinche. You can acclimate to the conditions and polish your skills before heading to world renowned Roldanillo.
We'll explore the absolutely stunning Valle del Cauca and push your XC talents to the next level. Then we'll wrap the trip up with a visit back to Piedechinche, so you can see for yourself how much your flying has improved!
How big is the group?
The trip is strictly limited to 10 pilots. We fill spaces on a first come first serve basis.
We also offer a small group options with only 6 pilots per trip.

We pride ourselves on always offering top notch accommodation and 2027 will be no exception. However due to the recent earthquakes (where our accommodation in Roldanillo has been reduced to rubble) we are currently not able to specify our exact location. Please bear with us it is almost confirmed!
